Very central location, just a short walk from the Museum of the Violin. The staff were cute and eager to assist. I appreciated the small touches, like the cozy room decor and quality coffee at breakfast. The noise from the bars nearby was disruptive, especially late at night, and the room could have used better lighting. The breakfast variety was somewhat lacking. The fruit looked overripe, and the choice didn't change throughout my stay. A mixed experience with great potential.

Charming old and silent hotel!
Very very helpful, excellent people working here. Lovely beds, a safe box, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, and a mini bar fridge in the room. A view of the courtyard from my window.

The breakfast included a lovely creamy panna cotta that added a sweet touch to the meal.
Unfortunately, noise from nearby restaurants made it difficult to have a peaceful evening.

The best thing about the hotel by far was the staff. All the girls at the reception, in the dining room and in the cleaning department were super friendly, polite, nice, willing to help in everything, they make you feel very comfortable and like you are at home and they make everything easier for you, like the parking, driving around the centre, they even got us a discount in a nearby restaurant. Bravo to all of them! The location is also absolutely fantastic. The room faces a square with a lot of charm and atmosphere. In spite of all that atmosphere you can sleep well because the windows get a good soundproofing. The hotel is right next to the cathedral square as well, right in the middle of the city. There is also a covered public parking lot 100 meters away from the hotel, for which the hotel gives you a ticket that costs 11 euros and so you save a good amount of money. The breakfast was varied but within the cold meals, and everything of quite quality, quite a variety of sweets. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. The air conditioning worked quite well.
For a 4 star, it looked like it needed a refurbishment, there are some little details that don't bother but give a little bit of a bad feeling, like for example the bathroom door frames, swollen by humidity, the toilet seat a little bit broken, the classic type furniture with some scratches. But wow, none of that caused us any problems to enjoy our stay,

Perfect location close enough to the Museum of the Violin, the Vertical Museum and the Cathedral and the Baptistry and the restaurant. Also, very near the city center...

Charming historic architecture adds unique character.
Despite the charming atmosphere, my room faced the noisy bar beneath was great. The soundproofing was poor, as I could hear conversations from neighboring rooms. The inconsistent air conditioning made the room uncomfortable, forcing me to keep the windows open, which raised concerns about mosquitoes.

The location right on the walking streets was excellent. Lots of bars and night life right outside the door. Right in the center of things!

Fortunately we were allocated inside rooms by helpful the staff. The square around the hotel is very lively at night - until 0200hrs. Cremona is "country town" on the River Po. Fantastic Duomo and Piazza.Good restaurants recommended by the Hotel.

I traveled here for the experience of hearing the priceless violins "exercised" (reservations suggested, tickets at the library bookstore under the portico). I couldn't have had a better location for all the sights of Cremona. The hotel is both elegant and cozy, with an attentive staff. I had asked for a quiet location, so was given an inside courtyard view which was rather dark most of the time. However, the high-ceilinged room was comfortable, with a double bed, and it had a nice bathroom. There were two excellent restaurants nearby - La Sosta, and Ristorante Il Violino.
During breakfast, large groups took over the rather small dining area for two of the three days I was there. Nice selection of food, though.

Great location in the main Piazza of Cremona. Kind of a one-horse town, but we only stayed one night and the bars in the square made it a fun and lively.

The breakfast featured good local delicacies and fresh coffee, fueling my adventures through Cremona's streets. Plus, I discovered amazing dining gems like Lescre Fantastique just a stone's throw away.
Watch out for those late-night revellers from the nearby bars. They might just challenge your beauty sleep, but the vibrant atmosphere still sparkles.
